D1 Minibus Driver Assessments
Independent HMT Minibus Assessments:
Organisations, schools and academies have a responsibility under the Health and Safety Act to provide adequate training to operate any equipment or machinery this includes vehicles and minibuses. Evidence of this training must be recorded. Hertfordshire Minibus Training offer such Minibus training and assessments.
Our Assessments
Our assessments take approximately 1 hour, these are conducted from your premises with your vehicle. This is a corrective assessment more like a lesson.
This will cover;
- Licence check
- Eyesight checks
- Basic vehicle safety checks
- Equipment checks,
- Speed limit differences
- Bus restrictions and exemptions
- laws regarding passenger carrying vehicles.
The assessor will give guidance and advice on techniques to improve candidates driving. A driver’s report will be issued and successful candidates will be issued with a HMT Minibus permit lasting 5 years from the date of completion.
